DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Higher Education.

High-quality work.

To the left is one of my projects, the multimedia inquiry ad campaign! These ads work for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Desktop, and Stories (you can click through the options below)!! These ads were designed in Sketch, with a little help from Photoshop. They are inspired by the inquiry email journey.

These ads and the emails below were designed to provide fresh twists to the existing university brand guidelines. They will be implemented using my certified knowledge of google ads, as listed and linked below.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Listed below are the professional certifications I have received along with links to a few of my awards, and who I received the certifications from.

Above is the Texas A&M University-Commerce marketing timeline that I designed, then implemented.

Other Digital Ad Campaigns I Designed

All of these campaigns had different target audiences, for example, Transfer Students, or incoming Freshmen. Each set was designed for Facebook, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, and Webpages. I did not include images of all the different-sized ads I created, because, frankly, there are a lot. All of these images follow a similar design theme in order to keep all of the branding and campaigns cohesive. These ads also had animated versions that had text effects regrettably, this website cannot support them at this time.

Print Design for A&M-Commerce

I designed letters, flyers, envelopes, and postcards for prints. I followed university branding and included QR codes for easy link access. Below are a few examples of my work during my time as a Digital Media Specialist.

TAMUC Inquiry Journey Emails

After receiving the Sketch files of the designs below I converted them into responsive, interactive emails that inspired all of the other designs above. In the text below the strange bits that appear to be code are portions where the HTML interacts with the CRM. In these emails, the buttons and links all change colors when hovered with a curser.

Mobile Conversion

For each email, I essentially included 2 versions of the same email in one set of code so that the transition between desktop and mobile would be seamless to best serve all of our higher education audience. I did work to maintain that the designs between each version were very similar in design but did not lose image quality with the size change.

All of the emails were tested and tweaked using EmailOnAcid through my HTML editor. The images were also tweaked using Photoshop and Sketch combined to best fit for both mobile and desktop versions.

TAMUC Email Campaigns

Using the other campaigns as inspiration, I designed the Academic Academy Email campaigns. In the text below the strange bits that appear to be code are portions where the HTML interacts with the CRM. In these emails, the buttons and links all change colors when hovered with a curser. I also Created emails for the Freshmen, Transfer, Graduate, and Academic Academy campaigns. One image from each has been included.

Admissions Media Management

Twitter

In order to maintain the university branding as well as comply with the new design motifs we are implementing, I designed a new profile image and header. The profile image uses gradient in-brand colors, so as to stand out from the university's primary accounts. The header features our in-brand font as well as a spirited, diverse image to balance the amount of blue and yellow used. The hashtag it features is specific to the audience of incoming students. I also changed the headings and links attached to the profiles. The heading focus on identifying and differentiating the account from the main university accounts. Hootsuite is used to manage community interactions.

Instagram

I created new Highlights covers, using blue-toned images similar to what we used in the emails above. I then added simple, white icons on top of the blue images to depict the pre-existing highlight subjects.

Facebook Page

The Facebook page is more similar to the Twitter page, but I used a Facebook-specific sized header.

Virtual Counselor Day Campaign

In order to advertise an virtual event, using HTML emails were created and distributed using the Community Relationship Manager (CRM) TargetX. The campaign featured 3 different emails sent on different dates and edited each time to increase interest and engagement while still keeping a in brand, inspired, theme.

Fresh, In-Brand, Designs.

I used both Photoshop and Sketch to prefect the images featured in each email, using the inquiry journey below as inspiration. I selected and edited images to convey the proper tone, and to not use too much of any particular color. Each email was designed to be engaging, and interesting as well as to follow a consistent theme. Note the similar header and footers, as well as the logo placement, colors, buttons and spacing. The buttons change colors when hovered with a curser. All of my HTML emails are mobile responsive, as seen in the inquiry examples below.

I also created a matching social media campaign for the virtual event, one of the matching graphics is featured on the left.
